hello Ada,
To make sure that it is a memory question, do a test run with a small
example ~50 residue protein. If modeller runs with that but crashes with
a larger system, than you really have insufficient memory.
normally 100+ Mb, and swap space 200+ Mb is a good average start. Also
check if your stacklimit is large enough, type "limit" at the Unix
prompt, and if stacksize is not a few 100 Mb or "unlimited" than
increase it, check "man limit".
also "SET OUTPUT CONTROL = 1 1 1 1 1 " in your modeller top file, for an
extended log report, to see if Modeller gets anywhere at all, before it
crashes.
